Pray for Pattaya Praise November 18th-21st
God has called Jessica Mock to Pattaya, Thailand to bring the power of the Holy Spirit to draw the broken and lost of Thailand into God's LOVE! Pattaya Praise is a 4 day event that draws worship bands from all over the world to bring worship and praise throughout the city of Pattaya - including places like transvestite stadiums, bars, beaches, streets, arenas... God's has brought much favor on Jessica's team, but she needs all the covering and interceding they can get... so please take the time to really cry out and ask for God's heart to be poured out over Pattaya this next week. Please take the time to fight in the Spirit against the opposition the enemy wants to push against them. Your prayers and interceding moves God's heart, and He WILL answer!

Furious Love Teaser.... Coming in February 2010
word from Darren Willson - creator of Finger of God...
" Furious Love, the sequel to Finger of God, is coming on February 14, 2010. But we need your help to get the word out. We are going to try something that has never been tried before with this one--we're going to turn churches around the world into movie theaters for one night. We already have hundreds of churches in many, many countries on board, but we want God to be made as famous as He possibly can, as we attempt to show the ferocity of His love on Valentine's Day, 2010."

If you aren't aware of what Acholi Beads are or where they come from, watch this video to get an idea of how women from Uganda changed trades from a rough condition to something more creative. You can be a part of helping support these women from Uganda who make these beautiful colorful recycled beads by purchasing their jewelry here in the States.
To see samples of the jewelry or to buy online, go to: www.acholibeads.com . To purchase jewelry from one of our locals that sells them at local events and in our bookstore contact Jessica Van Bogelen at jvbkeys@gmail.com

Seeds of Hope International - Africa
Our vision at Seeds of Hope is to reach not just to the borders of Zambia, but to bring health and hope throughout all of Africa. Already we are seeing this happen as Seeds of Hope is becoming a center of expertise for southern Africa in household water treatment methods. We are being established as a training center to equip other organizations in Zambia and the surrounding countries with knowledge in water, sanitation, and hygiene training and promotion. In addition to organizations coming to us, SHIP has also traveled to Sierra Leone, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Rwanda to do trainings. As we train organizations who then train others, the production and installation of bio-sand filters and the establishment of healthy water sources increases exponentially, bringing clean water into many more homes!
Approximately 1.1 billion people around the world do not have acceptable access to an adequate supply of safe drinking water. A child dies every 15 seconds from water-related diseases. (World Health Organization)Africa is in the midst of crippling poverty, the AIDS pandemic, malaria, and unclean drinking water, combined with up to 90% unemployment.
In Zambia, one in five people have HIV or AIDS. There are 572,000 AIDS orphans. Zambia is ranked number 13 among the highest infant mortality rates of all the countries of the world. Over 54% percent of children aged 3–59 months experience stunted growth because of malnutrition in Zambia.
Lack of clean water is at the root of many of these problems. Imagine that every glass of water you drink is a cup of sickness and disease. Diarrhea, headaches and dehydration are a common part of every day life. Cholera, typhoid and bilharzias outbreaks are commonplace.

The Zacatecas 15-50 Plan
The State of Zacatecas in Central Mexico remains one of the least evangelized areas of Mexico. There are hundreds of villages without an evangelical church.
The Plan: Raise up 15 workers and reach 50 towns or villages
Phase One: A Radio Program
At this time the program is on the radio Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for five minutes. Our goal is to have a daily ten minute radio program that would consist of a Christian song and a short daily devotion. Each week a Christian booklet or literature will be offered free to those who write into the radio program. This would create a data base of names and addresses of those that appear to be seekers. We will run the radio program for six months and then decide if enough names have been collected to begin personal follow up and if the program needs to run for a longer period of time. This will give us time to identify and recruit the team.
Phase Two: The Vision of 15
We will begin to pray for and recruit national workers that want to buy into this vision. The goal is to raise up a team of 15 workers. Phase two will be happening at the same time we are running the radio program and collecting names.
Phase Three: Precision Harvesting
Precision harvesting is identifying those who have interest in the gospel and concentrating on those people. For example, if you have 100 people and 5 out of the hundred are interested in the gospel you would have to talk to all of them to be able to identify the 5 that are open. If there was a way to identify the 5 open people you could save a lot of time and be more fruitful. Radio is the tool to help us identify those that are interested in spiritual matters allowing us to focus first on them. When a person takes time to send a letter/email requesting Christian Literature that shows they are open and interesting in knowing more about spiritual matters. In Phase Three we will begin to follow up and evangelize by going to seek out these people in their villages.
Phase Four: Reach Fifty Villages or Towns
In areas where we have clusters of new believers, we want to start study groups (cell groups) with the ultimate goal of seeing a church planted. Our goal is to establish 50 churches or small groups of converts in fifty unreached villages or under churched towns. To reach this goal we will need to build a team of 15 workers to do the evangelism and discipleship. This plan is based on our own experiences and similar to other programs that have been fruitful in other parts of the world.
We need donors, who are committed to evangelism, discipleship and church planting, to help cover the cost of radio time, literature, postage, cost of equipment and fuel cost to follow up contacts. If you'd like to know how you can partner in these needs please feel free to write us.
Once again we want to say, thank you, for your friendship and care. May the Lord bless each one of you!!!
